Not too sure which product would work the best as I have tried many which dont live up to what they are supposed to do. I need something that will work and help with uneven pigmentation and also the loss of firmness around my lower face. I am 42. Also has anyone used one of those hand held face toning machines and did it help.Best facial product to improve the firmness and contours in my face. Also uneven pigmentation.?
I think a mini-peel is the way to go. I'm 30 and I use it to tighten my pores and clear my skin of visible sun damage and clogged pores but it also works a treat on fine lines and generally tightens and evens out the skin. My favourite is Dermatologic Clinical Resurfacing Kit http://www.beautyisskindeep.com/217_derm鈥?/a> It's a professional grade product so it's important not to over use. I found that if you use it regularly - twice weekly for the first 4 to 6 weeks you just need to use it once or twice a month to maintain the results. It's very effective and works out much cheaper than having a peel done at the clinic. Check out other products at www.beautyisskindeep.com, they stock a lot of the products designed for the professional dermatologists. Hope it can help , good luck!!
Try the book 'Eva Fraser's Facial Workout', its full of facial toning exercises, massage techniques and pressure point massages. It starts off with a two week facial workout, then an intermediate and then a life workout that you use for the rest of your life. You use your own facial muscles and fingers to create resistance. Its like a gym for the face. Its a very usefull little book although you do need to be committed and do the exercises religiously. I've only ever been able to do the first workout (for the last 6 years I've had the book) after which I have seen a difference. It's not that they are hard, its just finding the time (10 mins) everyday to do them is the trouble for me. But it might work for you, plus theres lots of good old fashioned advice on keeping your skin healthy.
