When my mom's drunk, i notice she twitches a lot, especially in her facial area, why is this?

My mom's an alcoholic, and ever since i was little when shes drunk, she makes stupid faces sort of like twitching, and she also makes repetitive hand gestures. She pretty much curls her lip after every sentence, its weird. I haven't seen other people do this when they're drunk, and I'm just curious on why she does this. Actually those are signs that she may be getting alcohol poisoning or her face is becoming numb. As for the hand gestures it may be that her brain (when intoxicated) has no control over her gestures.When my mom's drunk, i notice she twitches a lot, especially in her facial area, why is this?
she is a crack head.thats why she drinks so much,she just blazzed up in the bathroom.get her to rehab.
Her nerves are shot.





It's just a nervous reaction. Not nearly as serious as the fact she is an alcoholic.

She could be having minor strokes. If this continues you NEED to have her see a doctor. Strokes are very dangerous and she could end up half paralyzed, paralyzed or dead.

booze can cause muscle twitches in some people. nothing abnormal besides the alcoholism.
