Why is some areas on my facial hair not growing does it mean i shave too hard im 18 yrs old?

when i had a line on my chin i shaved it then its not growing anymore in that area just like 1-5 hairs grow it and the other area near it is blank. whyyyyyy its messing up my look. how do i grow those hairs back where they used to be ????????????????????????????????Why is some areas on my facial hair not growing does it mean i shave too hard im 18 yrs old?
Man its jsut the way it goes for now, it'll grow in time. Like the guy above said you'll ge hair in places you didnt knwo you could haha, im 22 and can grow a good goatee but it dosent grow good on the sides of my face, and when i was 18/19 i had 0 chest hair, now im starting to get some, jsut comes with time dudeWhy is some areas on my facial hair not growing does it mean i shave too hard im 18 yrs old?
Be patient. Ten years from now you'll grow hair in places that you didn't know you could. I would suggest you give it a little time before you start shaving again. Wait until you've got some kind of growth, and then do the whole jaw/chin area. Figure out how long it takes to grow back, and shave on those intervals depending on how clean cut you want to be.
